Compared to cleaning, and cooking, I actually think this weeks lessons are rather useful. Learning to budget our money, and talk about careers doesn't bother me at all. I had a job over the summer, and my da, whose career is finance based, invested my money for me. I still have a good deal of it left, after buying school supplies, new school shoes, and a few frivolous things. I think saving money might be in my genes. Or else so drilled into my head, I was able to make a budget in my sleep.
Also, I can stomach Professor Noddley, far better than the last one, Dingo, or whatever his name is. His book was rubbish.

When I heard we were coming back to school early, I was hoping that we were in fact coming back to get a head start on NEWTS. Or maybe take an interesting summer course. But no, I've had to do laundry, well, actually that one wasn't so bad. Clean, I all ready knew how to clean, that one didn't garner an entire class. And now I'm looking at real estate. That might be the only assignment that is slightly useful. We probably should think about our living arrangements once we leave school.
I'm sure these courses have some sort of purpose, I have just failed to see what that is so far. Shake me awake from my sleepwalking through these things when they show their true benefits.
